Éva Gajzágó, PhD - department head, head of the research institute​

She obtained her first degree at the College of Modern Business Sciences (currently called University of Edutus) in 2001. She continued her studies and graduated as an economist at Gyula Kautz Economic Faculty of István Széchenyi University in 2008. Before her graduation, she worked at for-profit organizations, small and medium-sized enterprises, especially in the field of marketing and project management and she became the major referent of the Polytechnic of Dunaújváros in 2006. She was involved in the foundation of the Innovation and Management Centre within the institute between 2006 and 2008 and later she was in charge of managing the Office of Technology and Knowledge Transfer at the University of Edutus. She has been teaching in higher education, both in English and in Hungarian, project management, business economics, communication and regional economics since 2008. She obtained her PhD degree in regional and economic sciences at István Széchenyi University in December 2016. Her research topic focused on the examination of efficiency of organizations involved in innovation. Currently, she is doing research into innovation management and the creative industries. She has a wide international network of contacts (including research partner universities in Korea, Holland, the UK, Hong-Kong, France, the Czech Republic, and Spain). She has been working as a teacher at Tomori Pál College since 2017. She has been in charge of the college research centre and the head of the Department of Business Administration and Methodology since September 2017.
