Business Project: Prof. Ömür ÖNHON, PhD - college associate professor
Following his graduation as a mechanical engineer, he went on to study economics and became a Master of Business Administration and then obtained a PhD degree. His PhD thesis focused on the relationship between organizational behaviour and company management styles. He remained active in business life and worked as a senior executive manager for various multinational companies. He worked as a chief engineer in production planning and logistics at the subsidiary of Isuzu Motors in Turkey and then as a purchase and supply chain manager at the Turkish Telekom Mobile to continue his job career as the purchase and internal control director of Huawei Technology. He was a co-founder of a consultancy based in Istanbul, which offered training, consulting, coaching and mentoring services to small and medium-sized enterprises throughout Turkey. He has been lecturing as an associate teacher of Tomori Pál College since September 2018 and he also participates in training and consulting activities.

First qualified as an army economist, he started his career as an officer in the Hungarian Army in the field of logistics. During his service time as a soldier, he graduated in economics from the College of Finance and Accounting. After terminating his service, he worked for companies as a manager in the fields of production management and sales. Besides work, he did not stop studying and he obtained the qualifications as a marketing manager at the University of Pécs and then as the Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the joint programme of the University of Pécs and Middlesex University. Later he switched from for-profit to non-profit sphere and started working as a teacher in higher education. His primary field remained teaching ever since and he was the founding member of Tomori Pál College. To meet the requirements for higher education teachers, he obtained his PhD degree at the National University of Public Service. He also founded a consultancy business which focused on leadership and organizational development. He works as a coach, holds trainings, manages workshops and does consulting.
He got the third medal at the Braziliana Jiu-Jitsu Hungarian Open 2018 III., and the second medal at World Sport Kempo Championship 2018.

Qualified as an economist and later as a certified public accountant, she started her career working for insurance companies as an underwriter and product manager. Later she switched to the banking sector and became the product developer of KDB Bank first being responsible for the financing products of small and medium-sized enterprises and then for the development and control of mortgage-related products as a group leader. Later she worked for the Raiffeisen Group and, as a brand manager, was in charge of developing insurance products that were sold in a package along with banking products while she was providing support for sales.
She was involved in the foundation of the insurance company CIG Pannónia in 2011 and, as a chief underwriter and product manager, she was responsible for the creation of industrial property and liability products, and the product development and sales support for SMEs.
She has been lecturing in economics and finance since 1999, teaching subjects at Tomori Pál College since 2005. She became the financial director and then the chief manager responsible for backoffice operation in 2012 while, already in part time, she continues to work for CIG Pannónia EMABIT as an underwriter.
